Silence at The Sea

I used palette knife technique on the whole picture. I have also tried to mix the colours in different ways. The colors I used in the background, which can be said abstracting, may appear softer compared to the sunrise or sunset colors in the real world. Contrary to the sharp color transitions seen in my other paintings, there is quite big difference. I think it is possible to distinguish the intermediate colors as aggressive or harmonious and soft. The realistic boat image which  I used here was chosen to emphasize the calmness of the sea.
